Nolan Hunter joins JYAC board

JYAC is pleased to welcome Nolan Hunter as our newest independent director.

Nolan is a Bardi and Yawuru man from the Kimberley, with thirty years of strategic management and governance experience, including as the former CEO of the Kimberley Land Council and chairman of the National Native Title Council. He is currently the Aboriginal co-chair of ReconciliationWA.

Nolan is a passionate advocate for Indigenous and human rights, cultural maintenance through land management, and developing future economic and social opportunities.

“We are very pleased to have Nolan join us as we begin a new period of growth for Martu”, chairperson Bruce Booth said.

The directors also thanked Tom Stephens and Raelene Webb, who have left the board after serving two terms as independent directors.
