Heritage Committee

The Heritage Committee is a joint meeting of the Wanajarra & Yina and the Nominators.

The Heritage Committee works advises the JYAC Board and staff about how to make surveys and monitoring work is done properly.

This is essential to making sure Martu decide where land users about other visitors can go and what is allowed on Martu ngurra. 

The Heritage Committee gives the JYAC Board, JYAC staff and our contractors – Martu and non-Aboriginal people – the guidance on how to work on ngurra.
